Guess who's back...

I was studying the effects of sub-atomic particles on hamsters when, after a horrible disaster in testing, and the death of my entire research team, i decided that it was time to come home. I stayed stranded on that island for at least two months until i conceived a teleporter to send me through space, and into my house, where a previous model teleporter was. But, finally, i am all here and ready to begin anew! YOUR LEADER HAS RETURNED. I have learned many things from my travels, mostly about telling which squirrel had been irradiated and which squirrel hadn't (choose carefully people!). But the most important thing that has come to my attention is that F.E.A.R 2 Project Origin is the greatest PC Shooter in a long time. This is coming from someone who, not only hasn't played the first F.E.A.R, only plays shooters with a lot of blood and strong story lines, and most of all, someone who doesn't care for people that play anything other than the afore mentioned style of games. F.E.A.R 2 Project Origin is absolutely scarynesstastical (new word?) has great story, and also good graphics and great game play. I played this over, beginning to end at least 3 - 4 times. Because i have a lot more to T.A.L.K about, I will leave off here by saying that F.E.A.R 2 project origin has stolen my entire heart directly out of my chest, and sacrificed it to Satan himself who has made a delicious pie with it, and served it to me in the form of 5 stars!

Now moving on - What haven't i reviewed that i PROMISED i would? (looks at steam list, desktop, shelf, finally sees game) Far cry 2 *Children shouting excitedly* save your breath loyal Viewers. I have some bad news, as hyped as far cry 2 was, and as awesome as it sounds, It really sucks a lot. They did a good job on the game and everything, but they need to learn a thing or two about making a good game. First of all, There was absolutely no reason for them to put it into the far cry series. And if you thought 20 square miles of rain forest was cool you were wrong. Getting where you need to go becomes an amazing hassle and its so frackin' boring. You have to use a GPS and a map in unison to find you direction and drive all the way there, just to blow someone or something up drive back and drive away again. The actual story line of the game doesnt even fit in around it. its like:

i stopped playing it after about 4 little "quests".This pinnacle of FPS fails to impress me. Free-roam could have been a lot Frackin' better. Thanks for ruining my Christmas Ubisoft! As cool as running around the forest killing people with ak47s for 12 hours sounds, it is a bag of liquid fail. Save your money people. 2 1/2 stars
